Credit Pricing, Usage & Top-Ups

Credits are the currency you use to create content with your subscription in Dream Machine. Each subscription includes a monthly credit allowance that resets with your billing cycle. You can use credits to generate images and videos, with different rates depending on the model and resolution.

Dream Machine Subscriptions and our API are separate products! Dream Machine credits DO NOT transfer to the API or vice versa!

NOTE: Monthly credits do not roll over between billing cycles. When your subscription renews, your balance resets.

What are Top-Up Credits?

If you run out of monthly credits, you can purchase Top-Up Credits at any time during your billing cycle. These are separate from your subscription and give you extra flexibility:

• Start at $4 for 1,200 credits

• Buy as many credits as you need—either in bulk or multiple times

• Valid for 12 months from the purchase date and rolls over

• Automatically used after your monthly credits are exhausted

• Can only be used while on an active paid subscription

• Not available while your account is paused or on the Free plan
  
  

How to get Top-Up Credits

• To purchase credits:
  Go to Your Account → Your Subscription → Buy Credits

• To track your credit usage:
  Go to Account → Profile

• To view invoices:
  Go to Account → Manage Your Subscription → Invoice Information

NOTE: You can only buy and use Top-Up Credits while on a paid plan. If you cancel or switch to the Free plan, unused credits become hidden but stay valid for 12 months. Your Top-Up Credits become visible and usable again when you upgrade as long as it is within one year from purchase date.

Image Generation (Photon)

• Photon:
  4 credits per image
  Images are generated in batches of 4 → 16 credits per batch

NOTE: Every time you hit “Generate,” you get 4 images—so budget accordingly

Video Generation – Web

• Ray1.6 720p:
  5 seconds: 80 credits

• Ray2 720p:
  5 seconds: 160 credits
  10 seconds: 320 credits

• Ray2 1080p:
  5 seconds: 170 credits
  10 seconds: 340 credits

• Ray2 Flash 720p:
  5 seconds: 55 credits
  10 seconds: 110 credits

• Ray2 Flash 1080p:
  5 seconds: 65 credits
  10 seconds: 130 credits

Video Generation – iOS

• Ray1.6:
  16 credits per second

• Ray2 540p:
  16 credits per second

• Ray2 720p:
  32 credits per second

Video Feature add-ons

Modify Video

• 5-second video: approximately 400 credits

• 10-second video: approximately 800 credits

NOTE: Final cost varies based on features like slow motion, extend, or upscale

Reframe 

• Image: 4 credits

• Ray2 Flash: 11 credits per second

• Ray2 (Standard): 32 credits per second

NOTE: Credit use rounds up—e.g., a 9-second Extend clip is billed as 10 seconds

Upscale

• 720p → 1080p (5s): 10 credits

• 720p → 2160p (5s): 20 credits

• 1080p → 2160p (5s): 10 credits

Example: A 5-second Ray2 Flash 720p video costs 55 credits. Upscaling that to 4K adds 20 credits, totaling 75.

Fast vs Relaxed Mode

Dream Machine’s credit system has two modes—Fast and Relaxed—and your generation time and priority is based on your type of plan and available credits.

Fast Credits

Available on Unlimited and Enterprise plans only:

• Included monthly with your subscription

• Prioritize your generations on the fastest GPUs
  Credits are used based on settings like model and resolution—not one-per-generation

• When Fast Credits run out, you automatically switch to Relaxed Mode
  
  

Relaxed Mode

Only available on Unlimited and Enterprise plans:

• Unlimited and Enterprise have access to unlimited credits on relaxed mode after the monthly fast credits are exhausted

• Generations are placed in a relaxed queue

• Slower processing time

• Unlimited generations allowed
  
  

NOTE: Once you run out of credits on Lite and Plus subscriptions,  you’ll need to purchase Top-Up Credits or wait until your next billing cycle to continue generating.

API Credits are NOT Dream Machine Credits

Dream Machine subscriptions and our Dream Machine API are two separate products!

Credits from Dream Machine do not transfer to the Dream Machine API!
