Ray3.14: User Guide
Ray3.14 (also known as Ray3 Pi) is the latest addition to our Ray video generation model family. It brings major improvements across quality, speed, cost-efficiency, and creative control making it easier to create polished videos while iterating faster than ever.
Compared to Ray3, Ray3.14 generates up to 3× cheaper at 720p and up to 5× faster at 720p, while delivering noticeably cleaner and more consistent results.

What’s New in Ray3.14

Supported Workflows & Video Lengths
Ray3.14 works across the full Dream Machine creation pipeline:
Text-to-Video: 5 or 10 seconds
Image-to-Video: 5 seconds
Modify Video: Up to 18 seconds
You can also extend videos up to ~30 seconds, making it easier to build longer sequences over time.
Performance & Technical Specs
Native frame rate: 24 fps
Supported resolutions: Draft Mode, 540p, 720p, 1080p
Loop support: Available at 540p, 720p, and 1080p (not available in Draft Mode)
Upscaling: 540p, 720p, and 1080p generations can be upscaled to 4K
Ray3.14 is designed to balance speed, quality, and cost so you can choose the resolution that best fits your creative needs.
Modify Video Details
Modify Video is fully supported in Ray3.14, with:
Maximum input video length of 18 seconds
Support for common formats such as .mp4 and .mov
Best results achieved with high-quality source footage
This makes Ray3.14 well-suited for transforming and refining existing video clips.
Current Limitations
At launch, Ray3.14 has a few known limitations:
No character consistency feature
Reference images are not supported
Cannot be used with Reframe
These constraints are important to keep in mind when planning longer or character-driven projects.
