Spend Limit Policy

What Are Spending Limit Charges?
Luma app allows you to set an optional spending limit on top of your plan: this is your spending limit allowance. Spend limit credits give you additional capacity beyond your plan’s included credits, so you can keep working without interruption if you reach your plan limit.
Spending Limit works on a pay-only-for-what-you-use basis:
- You are never charged upfront for your spending limit. Setting a spending limit does not create a charge. You only pay for credits you actually consume.
- Your spending limit is your maximum, not a commitment. You can set your limit as high as you like. If you use fewer credits than your limit, you only pay for what you used.
- Spending limit charges are billed at the end of your billing period, alongside your regular plan renewal.
Setting Your Spending Limit
You can set or adjust your spending limit at any time from your account settings. There is no minimum or maximum, you are in full control of how much additional spend you allow.
- If you set your limit to zero, the spending limit is disabled and you will not be able to use credits beyond your plan allowance.
- You can increase or decrease your limit at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
- You will only ever be charged for credits you have actually used within the billing period.
How it works in practice
Example: You set a spending limit of £20. During the month you use £11 worth of spend limit credits. At the end of the billing period, you are charged £11, not £20.
Spend limit Charges and Refunds
Spend limit charges reflect credits you have already consumed and are non-refundable. If you have a query about a charge on your account, please contact our support team and we will review the details with you.
