Changing your account email address

Overview
We understand that email addresses change, whether due to a new job, a personal rebrand, or simply wanting a fresh start. However, there are some important limitations to be aware of before getting in touch.
We are not able to transfer your account, subscription, or any generated assets to a different account. Each Luma app account is tied to the email address it was created with.
What this means in practice:
- Your generations, projects, and history cannot be moved to a new account.
Monthly Subscribers
If you are on a monthly plan and need to move to a new email address:
- Contact our support team and we will cancel your existing subscription.
- Create a new Luma app account with your new email address.
- Take out a new subscription on your new account.
If your subscription was cancelled part way through a billing month and you have not made significant use of your plan, you may request a refund for that month. Our team will review your usage and apply our standard refund policy.
Annual Subscribers
If you are on an annual plan and need to move to a new email address, we handle this slightly differently to account for the remaining time on your plan:
- Contact our support team and we will cancel your annual subscription.
- We will issue you a coupon covering the number of months remaining on your plan.
- Create a new Luma app account with your new email address.
- Apply the coupon when subscribing on your new account to redeem your remaining months.
