Introducing Team Members and Admins on Your Luma Account

Real accounts. Defined roles. One workspace for your whole team.

April 1, 2026

Teamwork in Luma just got a serious upgrade. Today, it gets better for creative teams. You can now add members directly to your Luma account, give each person their own login and workspace, and manage everyone's access and credit usage from a single admin dashboard. This is account-level collaboration, and it changes how teams work in Luma.

Everyone Gets Their Own Space

When you add someone to your Luma account, they get a workspace that is entirely theirs. Their own login. Their own boards. Their own creative environment to generate videos, images, audio, and more. Nothing is shared unless they choose to share it.

This matters. Shared workspaces get messy fast. Luma keeps every member's work separate by default, so your team can generate freely without stepping on each other, while still operating under one roof.

Two Roles, Built for Real Teams

Every member you invite is assigned one of two roles.

Admin is for the people who need full control. They can manage members, monitor credit usage across the team, and access everything in the account. For creative directors, studio leads, and producers, this is the role that gives you the visibility you have always needed.

Team Member is for everyone else. They get their own login and board space to create freely, with no access to billing or credits. Junior creators can experiment without worrying about account-level settings. Senior creators can work without interference.

The split is intentional. Admins get oversight without becoming bottlenecks. Team members get autonomy without getting lost in account management.

See How Your Team Creates

As admin, you get a usage dashboard that shows credit usage across every member of your account in one view. No spreadsheets, no estimates, no digging through exports. Just a clear picture of how your team is using Luma, updated in real time.

For any team managing creative output at scale, this kind of visibility is what turns a group of individual creators into a coordinated operation. You can see who is generating, how much, and act on it immediately.

Collaboration That Respects Individual Work

One of the most important things about this update is what it does not do. It does not force everything into a single shared canvas. Boards stay private. Members work in their own space. Sharing is always a choice.

That balance is hard to get right. Luma does it by keeping individual ownership intact while giving the whole team a shared home. Your work stays yours. The team's work stays organized. Everyone knows where things are.

Works on Every Plan

Account membership is available across all Luma plans: consumer, service, and enterprise. The creator of the account is always the admin, with the same UI and permissions regardless of plan type. Two-person studio or 50-person agency, the setup is the same.
